Move anything valuable off the floor first, then find the source if you safely can — a failed sump, a downspout emptying against the wall, or water rising through the floor all look similar in the moment but call for different responses. Do not stand in standing water near an electrical panel or a running pump. Call us and we will talk you through the next hour whether or not you hire us.
What will you need to know when I call?
Roughly when the house was built, whether the basement walls are poured concrete or concrete block, where the water shows up, and whether it happens only during heavy rain or all spring. If you can text a photo of the wall and the floor along it, that helps a lot. None of it is required — we will figure it out on site.
Is the inspection really free?
Yes, and there is no obligation attached to it. You get a written fixed-price quote you can sit on for as long as you like. We do not do same-day pressure discounts, because a price that expires at the end of a sales visit was never a real price.
